Three mechanisms, and what each one physically does

Vigora tools work through percussion, thermal regulation and compression. Here is what that means in plain terms, without a claim attached.

Percussion
A motor drives a head back and forth against the muscle at a set stroke length and rate. Stroke length is amplitude, rate is percussions per minute, and the force at which the motor stalls is what decides whether it keeps working when you lean on it.
Thermal regulation
Heat raises tissue temperature at the surface and holds it there. Cold does the reverse. Both are ordinary, both are old, and neither needs a study to be understood.
Compression
Even pressure applied over a limb and released on a cycle. The variables that matter are the pressure it reaches and how long it holds before letting go.

What they are made of

Carbon fibre composite where the part has to stay stiff and stay light, and premium latex where it has to stretch and come back. We sculpt shapes to the hand and the limb rather than to a rendering. That is a slower way to design and a cheaper thing to own.

Carbon fibre composite
Used for housings and structural parts. Stiff, light, and it does not fatigue the way a moulded shell does at the seams.
Premium latex
Used where the material has to return to its shape thousands of times. Graded, not generic, so the resistance printed on a band is the resistance you get.
Ergonomic sculpting
We shape every contact surface to the human form, so the force goes where you point it and your wrist is not doing the work.

Every product, not a selected model. If it breaks in normal use, we replace it. The full terms are in our Terms of Service and they are written to be read.

Every unit carries a serial recorded against your order. It is how you open a claim and how we know a unit is ours.

Refunds

Questions people ask before they buy

What amplitude and stall force does the Percussion Pro have?

We state both figures on the product sheet that goes out with every inquiry, with the percussion range and a noise reading taken at one metre. If a brand will not give you those four numbers, that tells you something.

Is a $199 tool really different from a $70 one?

Sometimes, and the difference is in the motor, the stall force and how long the battery holds its capacity. It is not in the logo. Compare the four figures across whatever you are considering and buy the one that wins on them.

How loud is it?

We give a decibel reading taken at one metre rather than a word like quiet. Percussion tools in this class sit between a conversation and a kitchen extractor, and the number tells you where in that range ours falls.

Is this a medical device?

No. Vigora products are general wellness and fitness equipment. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition, and nothing here should be read as medical advice. If you have an injury or a health condition, ask a physician before using recovery equipment.

What does the lifetime warranty cover?

Failure in normal use, on every product in the range, for as long as you own it. It does not cover damage from misuse, disassembly or commercial hire. The written terms are linked in the footer and we would rather you read them now.

Can I return it if I do not get on with it?

Yes, under the refund policy published on this site. It is linked in the footer and it is the same policy for everyone.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Yes, through logistics partners. Import duties and local taxes are the buyer's, and we show them to you before you confirm anything.
